Speaking of Markets

Two markets in Bellingham that are definitely assets are The Public Market and the Bellingham Farmers Market.  Here's the scoop:

The Public Market is open all year, great hours, offers organic produce, eating, herbs, coffee, 1530 Cornwall at the corner of Cornwall and York.

Bellingham Farmers Market has a Saturday downtown market (Depot Market Square, Railroad at Chestnut) from April to late December, 10am - 3pm, and a  Fairhaven Wednesday afternoon market (on the Village Green behind Village Books), 12pm - 5pm, June through September.

By the way of other fresh produce, I like Youngstock's Country Farms Nursery and Produce, 2237 James St. in the Sunnyland district. Yum and prices.  'Nuff said.
